It took 2 months in open air to get the chimical smell out of this bed. The bed is extremely comfortable. If you have allergies or are sensitive to chemicals do not buy this product, buy tempurpedic on a payment plan. IF you are not sensitive to those things, this is a great bed.

I BOUGHT THIS MEMORY FOAM MATTRESS WITH A LOT OF DOUBTS.WHEN I PURCHASED IT I WAS IN ANOTHER STATE FROM WHERE IT WAS BEING DELIVERED...SO I DIDNT GET TO SEE IT DELIVERED & WRAPPED. MY BROTHER RECEIVED THE MEMORY FOAM MATTRESS I CALLED HIM TO HAVE HIM UN WRAP IT SO IT COULD FORM.I TOLD HIM TO TRY IT OUT. HE SAID IT WAS THE MOST COMFORTABLE MATTRESS HE EVER LAID ON. WHEN I ARRIVED BACK TO ATLANTA I WAS PLEASED TO SEE THAT IT LOOKED JUST LIKE THE PICTURE.I LAID ON THE MATTRESS & WOW! WHAT A MEMORY FOAM MATTRESS. IF YOU ARE LOOKING & SKEPTICAL ABOUT SO CALLED CHEEP MEMORY FOAM MATTRESS TRUST ME, BUY THIS ONE. IN MY OPINION ITS WORTH $1000+ ...TRUST ME ON THIS ONE PEOPLE. THE REASON WHY I CAN SAY THIS IS BECAUSE I USED TO SELL THEM FOR A WELL KNOWN FURNITURE COMPANY (RAYMOURE & FLANIGAN)...BY THE WAY, WORST COMPANY I EVER WORKED FOR.

The word "soft" should not be in the title of this product, as it is not. Try returning it to Amazon though...just packaging it up and sending certified mail would be hundreds of dollars. Beware buying memory foam on internet unless they have a DAMN good return policy. Now every night I'm reminded that Amazon isn't so perfect!

This is not a 12" thick memory foam mattress. 3" foam on top of I don't know what. Very very very firm. If you have joint problems I'd stay way from this one. Oh, and the smell is pretty bad.

I was looking for a memory foam mattress which would not blow a hole in my wallet. The chemicals smell lasted a few days and the bed expanded to full size in 5 hours. This bed is firm which is what I like. You sink into the bed gradually and the memory foam cocoons your back. I love this bed and have not had any back trouble since I purchased it. I have owned it for 4 months now.
